The newly created action layer will appear as a button next to the Add Action Layer button. Name the action layer, such as 1-Finger - Right Mouse. When you're done with it, at the top level of Controller Configuration, press Add Action Layer. There's also a left mouse button icon available somewhere in the bottom half of the list if you like. Choose an icon to represent left mouse button. On the far right, along the middle, is a button for ICON. Choose EMPTY binding (this is just temporary, it'll be changed later). You'll switch between left-mouse and right-mouse click by pressing a button. In this approach, we'll have an action layer where 1-Finger is bound to right mouse button. There are at least a few different ways of doing it, one of which I'll describe below. The following method below is a different approach and it does not use any of the steps above. I genuinely am not sure what I would be looking for, maybe an on screen button to hold/toggle to change taps from LEFT to RIGHT ? Originally posted by Maarx:But I cannot find any simple/elegant solution for RIGHT mouse button. Press M1 and M2 for left mouse and right mouse click. Now when you touch the screen, the cursor will jump to the location when using Direct Cursor without any mouse clicking. When you're finished, press the Steam Link Tray to return to Layout Controls and press Done. Resize them if necessary by touching the button and applying a pinch-to-zoom gesture on it. Drag M1 and M2 onto the screen and place them somewhere that it doesn't overlap with in-game buttons (otherwise you wouldn't be able to press them, since you're using Direct Cursor). Exit Controller Configuration into the Steam Overlay, and return to the game (if you press the Steam Guide button while editing a binding, your changes in Controller Configuration might not propagate to the app correctly depending on what screen in the configuration you're on.). Pick M2 and bind it to right mouse button.
Let's pick M1 and bind it to left mouse button.
On the right side are buttons M1-M8 called Macro buttons. Next, assign left mouse button and right mouse button to a couple of buttons. Repeat the above two steps for 2-Finger. This will set 1-Finger to do nothing in the game. Select EMPTY binding, represented as a blue circle with a black line going across the middle (near the end of the row).
On the next screen, to the right of the text entry for naming the binding is the Special Inputs row.
Near the middle of the left side are two icons: 1-Finger and 2-Finger. Originally posted by Maarx:is it possible to set it up so that tapping screen will move cursor to that exact spot without clicking any button, and then I would bind two on screen buttons to LEFT and RIGHT mouse buttons?įirst, we'll disable left mouse (and right mouse) clicking when tapping the screen.
